Updates On 2017 UTME Forms Not Yet On Sale, JAMB Warns Prospective Candidates

2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME forms are not yet on sale. JAMB warns prospective candidates not to fall prey to the activities of fraudsters who might lure them into buying fake documents.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has told prospective candidates for the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) that it has not commenced the sale of forms yet.

Dr Fabian Benjamin, the JAMB’s Head of Media and Publicity, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) by telephone on Monday that the board would adequately sensitise the public before the sale begin.
“I want the public to be patient. We are putting finishing touches to the arrangements for a hitch free outing.
“We do not want a repeat of what had been happening before and during registration this year.
“We need to ensure that prospective candidates do the right thing and get their results without problems.
“So we want to appeal to prospective candidates to be patient as we will soon begin sale of the forms,’’ Benjamin said.
He warned the general public and prospective candidates not to fall prey to the activities of fraudsters who might lure them into buying fake documents. (NAN)

Illusionist defies death with suit that is 'invisible'to sharks  https://youtu.be/-i3GgNffEWo He’s not quite the shark whisperer. But Andrew Mayne, an illusionist and magician, has managed to come up with a way to commune with the beasts unlike just about anyone else. In his very own customized diving apparel, dubbed “Ghost Diver,” Mayne can make himself virtually invisible to sharks. The suit works by manipulating light in the water, allowing Mayne to virtually disappear. “Next thing you know,”  Mayne told CNET,  “you find yourself 80 feet underwater surrounded by great whites going, ‘How the hell did this happen?” The daredevil showed off his new threads during a television special dubbed “Andrew Mayne: Ghost Diver” on Discovery Channel’s “Shark Week” on Friday.
