Former Ohio judge who battered his wife and was released from jail after only 9 months has now killed her An Ohio Judge who punched his wife 20 times in 2014, slammed her head against the dashboard of his car, and broke her orbital bone in front of their kids, spent only 9 months in jail before he was released. Now, he has allegedly stabbed the woman to death. Former Ohio judge Lance Mason was forced from the bench and served prison time for viciously assaulting his then-wife Aisha Fraser. He was released early from jail because he wrote an apology letter to his wife which she accepted. But, on Saturday morning Nov 17th, she was found stabbed to death and Mason has been taken into custody.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan marked his 61st birthday on Tuesday with the public presentation of his memoir, My Transition Hours, at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja. The book chronicles all the intrigues before his exit from office in May 2015. Dignitaries at the book presentation were former president Olusegun Obasanjo, former Vice President and PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, Abdusalami Abubakar, Yakubu Gowon, APC National Chairman Adams Oshimole, Senate President Bukola Saraki, Speaker House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara, and many others. Former President of Ghana, John Mahama, President of AfDB, Akinwumi Adesina and some governors elected under PDP are also in attendance. President Muhammadu Buhari is represented at the event by Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha. See more photos below

PDP introduced 'Vote Buying' to Nigerians - Senator Ali Ndume Senator Ali Ndume representing Borno South has accused the main opposition, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of introducing vote-buying into the Nigeria’s electoral system.   Ndume was reacting to the allegation that the President Buhjari-led administration was using its Special Investment Programmes, including TradeMoni, to buy the electorate over.
